Mira Stroika is a composer, pianist, accordionist, vocalist, aerialist and video artist who began her performance arts training with intensive classical piano studies from the age of three.

Stroika attended Stanford University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University, where she was one of only a few undergraduates to perform with the Yale Drama School. Stroika was also awarded a Tisch Departmental Fellowship for her Masters degree studies exploring innovative uses of digital technology in performance.

A vocalist whose range spans six languages and a mainstay in the Jewish music world, Stroika has collaborated with Frank London of the Klezmatics, headlined at the Berlin Jewish Film Festival and recorded music for the Jewish Museum’s exhibit on Soviet Yiddish Theater. She was also awarded the prestigious Blue Print Fellowship for Jewish artists. Additional performance credits include Lincoln Center, headlining Symphony Space, Joe’s Pub and performing as a soloist for the ambassadors to the United Nations. Stroika is creating a new show that uniquely combines music and aerial performance featuring musicians who perform their instruments in the air.
